San Francisco, California: Apple Pulls Dozens of Books from Shelves

PEN USA’s First Amendment Action Committee is concerned by recent actions of Apple Computer Inc., the maker of popular electronic items such as Mac computers and iPod mp3 players. Apple has pulled all books by publisher John Wiley & Sons Inc. off of the shelves of Apple stores nationwide.
Alexandria, Virginia: Defendant on Trial for His Words

UPDATE April 28, 2005: A jury found Ali al-Timimi guilty on all charges in all 10 counts against him. He will remain free on bond pending his sentencing in July. He faces up to life in prison. His lawyers say they are disappointed and will file a motion to set aside the verdict and request a new trial.
