Writers’ Reel: Ramona Ausubel On Getting to the Truth

Author Ramona Ausubel describes how she began writing her novel No One Is Here Except All of Us. What started off as a way of documenting her family’s history turned into an award-winning work of fiction. The novel went on to win the 2013 PEN Center USA Literary Award for Fiction.
“It surprised [me] how I got much closer to the truth once I put all of my notes away.” – Ramona Ausubel
