World Building with Charles Yu

Event Date and Time:
May 18, 2013 - 10:00am - 1:00pm

An Alternative Way of Thinking About Your Story

Only four seats left! This workshop will explore the idea of world building and what it means for one of the most important aspects of writing: the beginning. A story will be examined not as a series of events in time, but as a world inhabited by the reader. Participants will leave the workshop excited to construct their own world. After the workshop, each participant will have the option of sending in the first paragraph or page of their work and Charles will provide a written response and critique.

May 18, 2013, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Address provided upon R.S.V.P.
